COVID-19 and vaccination
As part of the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out, all Victorian school aged students aged 16 years are now eligible to receive the Pfizer COVID-19. This week the Victorian government announced its aim to vaccinate all final year students by the time they sit their end-of-year exams.
The Victorian Department of Health is hosting a live webinar for final year school students, their families and educators to provide information on COVID-19 vaccination on Friday 3 September from 4pm to 5pm. Topics will include:
- Vaccines, development and safety
- Accessing and consenting to a vaccination
- How to book an appointment
- Q+A with the panel
Senior students and parents will be receiving information about how to book vaccinations and a link to the online presentation. Keep checking Compass Newsfeeds and email for full and up to date information.
