A Night to Remember

Brighton Secondary College was thrilled to host Brighton’s Got Talent showcase on Tuesday 5th August—a spectacular evening that shone a spotlight on the outstanding creativity, skill, and spirit of our student performers.

This student-led event, driven by our passionate Arts Leader and A/V Production Leader, was a vibrant celebration of performance and community. From solo musicians and vocalists to energetic group acts, every student who took to the stage showed incredible bravery and talent in performing in front of peers, family, and community members. It was a night full of “wow” moments and genuine appreciation for the courage it takes to step into the spotlight.

Each of these performers captivated the audience and judges with their originality, stage presence, and passion.

Their expertise and support added great value to the evening, helping determine our winners through thoughtful and fair evaluation based on specific performance criteria.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank the dedicated staff who made this event possible—Ms Bolton, Ms Campion, Mr Chalk, and our audio extraordinaire Kalju—for their commitment and behind-the-scenes work. Their support ensured the night ran smoothly and professionally.

We are especially grateful to the Mehta Family for their generous donation of prizes for our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Their contribution added an exciting element to the event and helped us celebrate our performers in a meaningful way.

Finally, thank you to our students, families, and community members who came along to support and cheer on our performers. Your energy, enthusiasm, and encouragement helped create an unforgettable atmosphere—one that truly reflected the heart of Brighton Secondary College.
