Consent Education at BSC- Consent Labs
Last week, students in Years 7 to 11 participated in a series of engaging and age-appropriate consent education workshops delivered by Consent Labs, a leading organisation in respectful relationships education.
The sessions focused on building students' understanding of consent, boundaries, communication, and mutual respect across a range of real-life scenarios. These workshops are an important part of our school’s commitment to student wellbeing and personal development.
By equipping students with the knowledge and skills to navigate relationships safely and respectfully, the program supports a positive and inclusive school culture. It empowers young people to make informed, ethical decisions now and into the future.
Cyber safety and online bullying Performance- Brainstorm Productions
In Week 1, students in Years 7 and 8 recently attended a powerful live performance by Brainstorm Productions, focused on the challenges and responsibilities of navigating the online world.
The engaging production explored key issues such as digital footprints, the sharing of images, cyberbullying, and the impact of online choices. Through relatable scenarios and dynamic storytelling, students were encouraged to reflect on safe and unsafe online behaviours and the consequences they can have on themselves and others.
This performance supports our school's commitment to digital safety and wellbeing, helping students develop critical thinking skills, empathy, and a greater awareness of how to use technology respectfully and responsibly.
