VM Bunnings Trade- skills for Teens program.

Recently, our VM students had the exciting opportunity to participate in the Trade Skills for Teensprogram at Bunnings Moorabbin. 

This hands-on, two-session program gave students direct experience in practical trade skills. Throughout the program, students worked collaboratively to assemble a flat-pack Cubby House, putting their teamwork and building skills to the test. After successfully building the Cubby House, they added their own creative touch by painting and decorating the finished product. 

What made this experience even more meaningful was the decision to donate the completed Cubby House to Bentleigh West Kindergarten. Through this project, our students not only gained valuable trade skills but also strengthened connections within the local trade industry and made a positive contribution to our community. 

We are proud of their dedication and creativity and look forward to more opportunities that inspire learning and community involvement.
