Celebrating Our Year 7 Students – Their First 100 Days at Brighton Secondary College
Early this term, we proudly celebrated a special milestone for our Year 7 cohort—their first 100 days of secondary school.
Starting high school is a significant step in any young person’s life. It means stepping into a larger, more complex environment, navigating new routines, making new friends, and meeting higher academic expectations. For our Year 7 students, these first 100 days have been a testament to their courage, adaptability, and determination.
The transition from primary school to secondary school is no small feat. It takes bravery to walk into a new space, embrace change, and step up to the challenges and opportunities that come with it. Our Year 7 students have done exactly that—demonstrating resilience, a willingness to learn, and a positive spirit that has already enriched our Brighton Secondary College community.
We congratulate each and every Year 7 student on reaching this milestone and acknowledge the effort, growth, and progress they have shown in such a short period of time. These first 100 days are just the beginning of an exciting journey, and we are confident they will continue to flourish both academically and personally.
On behalf of the entire Brighton Secondary College community, we wish our Year 7s all the very best for the next five and a half years of their secondary education. We look forward to seeing the incredible things they will achieve.
During the celebration, we also acknowledged an announced our Semester 2 Class Captains who will continue of from their predecessors in bringing their peers together and demonstrating what it takes to be a leader, friend and positive member of the Brighton Secondary College Community.
