Foundation News

Welcome back, we hope everyone had a restful long weekend and ready for another fantastic week in foundation.
As inquirers, our students engaged in an activity with our 5/6 buddies to read and reflect on what they learnt when interviewing a member of their family. The foundation students wrote something they learnt about their family members from the past. It was fascinating to hear all about how our grandparents got to school, the games they played and the things they had that we no longer have. See below some examples of what we found out:
As the Year 4 students approach their Sacrament of Eucharist we have been learning about what this Sacrament is. We have made a connection between the Last Supper and Parish Mass as well as the connection between Eucharist and celebrating as a community with a special meal. We will be exploring the symbols of Eucharist this week.
Just to note in Week 9 on Tuesday the 16th of June it is Italian Day. The students can come dressed up in Italian colours or a costume representing something Italian.
