Empowering International Students - A Wonderful Semester of Growth and Connection

It’s hard to believe we’ve already reached the end of Term 2.

This has been a busy and rewarding term for our International Student Program, and we are so pleased to see how much our students have grown, not only in their studies, but also in confidence, independence, and friendships.

Throughout the first half of 2026, students have continued to build their understanding and adapt to life at Warrandyte High School.

We work closely with teachers and the wellbeing team to ensure every student feels safe, supported, and connected. Whether it’s support with learning, settling into school life, or personal concerns, we are always here to help. We encourage students to reach out whenever they need assistance.

As we approach the end of the term, here are a few friendly reminders for all international students and families:

  • Please check and update your contact details if needed
  • Semester reports will be available soon on Compass, providing a summary of each student’s progress and achievements
  • Year 10 students will undertake one week of work experience. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain insight into real-world working environments
  • Year 8, 9, 10 and 11 students will complete their subject selections before the end of term. We encourage students to explore the wide range of subjects available and carefully consider their future pathways

It is exciting to see our International Student Program continuing to grow. We remain committed to providing a supportive and welcoming environment for all students. We truly value the strong partnership we have with our families and look forward to continuing this journey together.
