Get Ready to Channel your Inner Warrior!
Spartan, the renowned obstacle race series, is set to return to Werribee Racecourse on 9 – 10 August!
Spartan is also recruiting volunteers to support the event. Whether you're interested in on course assistance, festival coordination, registration support, or official roles, there's a place for you.
PerformX, Performing Arts School
PerformX, is a performing arts school based in Werribee, and we are offering three high-value full 12-month scholarships (valued at $2,000 each) for young people aged 5–18 who are passionate about the performing arts and reside in Wyndham. There are two categories - one to support families facing financial or personal hardship and one to recognise outstanding talent. Each scholarship also includes a gift pack, complete with fitted jazz shoes from our supporting partner Bloch valued at $200.
We’re committed to a 1-in-10 model: for every 10 paying students, we aim to offer one scholarship so we’re really focused on reaching the right families and growing this impact year on year and hope you can support us in sharing this information.

Wyndham All Abilities Disability Supported Basketball Program - founded 2014
- For anyone over the age of 5 with disability
- Disability support coaches - with experience in various disabilities
- Players are placed into teams of similar abilities and ages, beginners always welcome.
- Players are supported in learning the skills and playing games of basketball whilst building social skills.
- Therapists are very welcome to attend to support their clients too.
- Cost is $110 per player per school term.
Held at Eagle Stadium, 35 Ballan Road, Werribee, courts 1, 2, 3 and 4
Every Tuesday during school terms - different session times depending on age.

Did you know that on any given night over 123,000 people across Australia are experiencing homelessness?
In the lead up to this year’s Homelessness Week (4 - 10 August), our Community Centres and Libraries across Wyndham are coordinating an annual Donation Drive from June to August to collect long-life food and personal care items for those in need.

We know that many people are experiencing hardship, lets do what we can. We appreciate your support.
