Term 3 has truly flown by. It continues to amaze me how much our students and teachers manage to get through over the course of these terms – tests, SACs, SATs, essays, quizzes, construction, painting, drawing, photography, experiments, metalwork, sport. There is a wealth of opportunity at Monivae College.  

📚 VCE Practice Exams 📚 

The Unit 3&4 VCE Practice Exams will be held during Week 1 of Term 4; Monday, October 7 to Friday, October 11. These exams are an important opportunity for students to prepare for their final assessments, with sessions running from 9:00 AM to 4:15 PM each day. I have attached the timetable to this newsletter, and it is also available on Knowledge Banks. 

Some key details: 

• Students must attend all scheduled exams and adhere to school uniform requirements.  
• Please ensure your child signs in and out at the front desk for each exam.  
• There will be no scheduled Year 12 classes during this week.  
• For full details, please refer to the correspondence sent earlier this week.

🎉 Farewell to our Non-Scored VCE and VCE VM Students 🎉 

On Wednesday, we celebrated our non-scored VCE students and VCE VM students at a farewell morning tea. These students have worked diligently to complete their outcomes across all their subjects. I wish them all the best for the future and look forward to seeing them again at the final Year 12 Assembly. 

⏳ Class of 2024 Countdown ⏳ 

As of today, Friday, September 20, there are 23 SCHOOL DAYS remaining for the Class of 2024. It’s an exciting and important time for them as they approach the final stretch of their school journey. 

Finally, I wish everyone a safe and restful holiday period, and I look forward to seeing our students return refreshed and ready for the final term.
