More than 230 parents, carers, staff and friends came together for the Parents Association Trivia Night last week, and it was clear from the moment guests arrived that The Game, indeed, was ON!

Going with the theme of the night, guests were asked to dress up to represent their chosen 'game'. The creativity was fantastic, with whole tables of guests transformed into all kinds of games and characters. There was a netball team ready for action, tables featuring Celebrity Heads, Mario Brothers, Guess Who and billiards, while others dressed as playing cards, tennis players and plenty of other hilarious game genres. The result was a room full of colour, laughter and some very dedicated game players!
And while the trivia competition was on the agenda, it was only one of the evening's many activities.

Teams competed for Best Dressed table, took their chances in coin tosses, enjoyed a fabulous bar and the talents of our wonderful bartending team, and refuelled on a delicious supper supplied by our talented Food Studies students and wonderfully supportive HPE staff. Most importantly, there was plenty of chat time to catch up with old friends, meet new people and enjoy a night together as a school community.
The Silent Auction was also a mammoth success, adding another exciting element to the evening. We extend our sincere thanks to the many local businesses, vendors and organisations who generously donated prizes, experiences and vouchers. Their phenomenal sponsorship and generosity made a significant contribution to the success of the evening and to the funds raised by the hard-working Parents Association.

We encourage our school community to remember and support these generous local businesses and organisations wherever possible, and to take the opportunity to thank them and to tell others of their wonderful support of Brunswick Secondary College. Their generosity helps make events like this possible and strengthens the connections between our school and the wider community.
A very special thank you goes to parent Bethany Macdonald (Owen -Year 7) for bringing along the surprise host Josh Earl. Together, Bethany and Josh kept the evening moving and the laughs coming as they expertly emceed the night.

Thank you to everyone who came along, dressed up, joined in and helped make the evening such a success. The Parents Association Trivia Night was a wonderful reminder that sometimes the best part of a game is simply getting together and having so much fun!
