Senior School  Report

Jessica Hollands

It’s been a very busy start to the term in the Senior School! Our Year 12 students celebrated their Graduation last week, marking the end of their secondary school journey. It was a truly special evening, filled with pride, reflection, and joy. I felt deeply honoured to MC the event alongside Year 12 Year Level Leader, Claire Blower, as we recognised the incredible dedication and resilience shown by every one of our graduating students.

To our Year 12's — we are so proud of the hard work, persistence, and spirit you’ve shown throughout the year. Your commitment to finishing strong has been inspiring, and we wish you all the very best as you complete your exams and take the next step on your journey. Remember to use your study time wisely, but also to find balance — take breaks, stay connected, and look after your wellbeing during this busy exam period.

Our scored students have already begun their exams, and it’s wonderful to see them approaching this important time with maturity and focus.

Our Year 11's joined us for the final Year 12 Assembly, gaining a glimpse into the celebration of achievement that awaits them next year. We hope this experience sparked aspiration and motivation — now is the perfect time for Year 11's to start thinking about the legacy they will leave behind as the next senior leaders of our school. With only one year to go, we encourage them to set goals, lead by example, and make a lasting positive impact within our school community.

As for our Year 10 students, they are entering the final weeks of their school year and preparing for their Step Up program in Week 7. This marks an exciting transition, as students begin their Year 11 classes and take their first steps into their chosen pathways. Step Up is a valuable opportunity for students to experience their new subjects, connect with new teachers, and start working toward their long-term goals with purpose and confidence.

It’s been a term full of energy, growth, and celebration in the Senior School, and I couldn’t be prouder of all our students for the way they continue to strive, support one another, and embrace every challenge and opportunity that comes their way.
