English Department Report 

The end of the year is fast approaching, and our senior students have begun to move into their exam revision. In our junior classes, we are fast approaching final units. It is an exciting time! 

Our Year 7's have watched the film Wall-E, and are in the process of analysing the themes and ideas contained therein. 

Our Year 8's have watched the film Edward Scissorhands, and have been deep in discussion around how the characters and environments reflect the ideas. 

Our Year 9's have moved into their study of the film Jojo Rabbit, and are grappling with the way it reflects real history. 

Our Year 10's have recently concluded their Analysing Argument studies, and have been working on their speeches, they seem very excited to share their opinions! 

Year 11's have begun exam preparations, and have been working hard on this. 

Our Year 12's completed their VCAA English exam on Tuesday, the 28th October.
