A big welcome back to Term 4! We started the term with the graduation of our Western Bulldogs Nallei Jerring program. This was a fantastic day where local schools came together to celebrate what has been an incredible experience for all participants. Throughout the program, students took part in sessions focused on culture, art, self-esteem, and music, as well as important conversations around everyday challenges such as online gaming, gambling, and vaping.
This year has been a massive one for our First Nations students, and they have so much to be proud of.
In our Yarning Circle last week, we sat out in the sunshine, enjoyed some food, and had a go at traditional dot art. Yarning around the picnic table about what we got up to over the holidays was a great way to start the term and reconnect as a group.
I look forward to the rest of the term and preparing our mob for 2026.
