Junior School Report
Jocelyn Gepp
It has been a fantastic start to Term 4 for our Junior School students! Everyone has settled back into the school routine wonderfully, showing great enthusiasm and focus for the final term of the year.
At our start of term Assembly, we celebrated all the students who achieved 100% attendance for Term 3 – an incredible effort that demonstrates dedication and commitment to learning. Congratulations to all of these students on this outstanding achievement!
We’ve already had a busy and exciting start to the term, with a number of activities taking place. Our students have proudly represented the school in the next round of Athletics, Sports Colours Day, and Futsal. Well done to everyone who participated – your teamwork, sportsmanship, and effort were excellent!
We also enjoyed a special Diversity Afternoon, organised and run by our Year 11 VCE:VM students for the Year 8 and 9 cohorts. This event gave students the opportunity to learn about a range of different cultures and take part in hands-on activities that celebrated cultural diversity and inclusion. A big thank you to the VCE:VM students and staff involved for making this such a valuable experience for everyone.
Our Year 8 students have also begun the Live4Life program, which will continue over the coming weeks. This program focuses on building Mental Health literacy, resilience, and wellbeing — important skills that support our students both in and out of the classroom.
Looking ahead, we will be running a Year 9 into 10 Step Up Program from Tuesday 10th to Thursday 12th December. This will give students the opportunity to experience aspects of their 2026 courses, meet teachers, and prepare for the transition into Senior School. More information will be shared with families soon.
