New Mural

In the last week of term our Science Building had a makeover. 

The mural was painted by Scott Rathman from Rusted Tin - Contemporary Aboriginal Arts.

Scott Rathman is a South Australian artist whose Aboriginal past is represented in his work. His family is a descendant of the Aranda people of Central Australia.

Scott ran a workshop with our Cultural Connections group earlier in the term and worked to create the mural. 

All students were able to bring a peer/trusted person to the workshop, so we had the opportunity to raise awareness and understanding amongst a wider group from our school community.
