Aberfoyle Park High School SRC and Head Students Shine at Youth Leadership Summit

We are proud to announce that the Student Representative Council (SRC) and Head Students from Aberfoyle Park High School recently had the opportunity to participate in the Youth Leadership Academy Australia (YLAA) Youth Leadership Summit. Held annually, this summit brings together young leaders from across the country to inspire, educate, and empower them to make positive changes in their communities.

Representing our school with dedication and enthusiasm, our SRC and School Captains showcased their leadership skills and commitment to making a difference. 

Throughout the summit, they engaged in a variety of seminars and interactive sessions focused on leadership development, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.

The summit provided our students with invaluable opportunities to network with like-minded peers, exchange ideas, and gain insights from accomplished leaders and mentors. They explored topics such as effective decision-making, community engagement, and fostering inclusivity, which are all essential aspects of leadership in today's world.

The highlights of the summit was the keynote addresses delivered by inspiring leaders and change-makers who shared their personal stories, insights, and words of wisdom with our students. These motivational speeches left a lasting impact on our students, inspiring them to dream big, believe in themselves, and strive for excellence in everything they do.

As they return to Aberfoyle Park High School, our SRC and School Captains bring back with them a wealth of knowledge, experiences, and newfound inspiration to lead by example to effect positive change within our school and wider community. We commend them for their dedication, passion, and commitment to leadership. We look forward to seeing the incredible impact they will continue to make in the years to come.
