Student Interview with Stevie, Abby and Aleia - Year 5
What do you love about school?
Stevie
- Seeing my friends and sport.
Abby
What I love about school is that you do things with the whole grade not just your class, the teachers are really nice and that you can work a friend when you do a project.
Aleia
What I love about school is that the teachers are very friendly and the even though I am not with some of my friends, I can still work with them.
Were you nervous or excited about starting Year 5?
Stevie
- I was a little bit nervous, but mainly excited.
Abby
I was excited for Year 5, the camp and learning different things.
Aleia
I was a bit of both actually. Even though I knew my teacher and class, I was still a bit nervous.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Stevie
- Either a Lawyer or a Physio.
Abby
I want to be a Pysio or a basketball player when I grow up.
Aleia
- When I grow up I want to be a Physio.
What did you see recently that made you smile/be happy?
Stevie
I saw a prep student in the yard who was a bit sad and then another prep student.
- came up and cheered them up. It made me smile.
Abby
I saw all my cousins on the weekend, and we had dinner.
Aleia
At recess I was playing with my friends, and I saw 2 girls having a fight and then one of them went up to the other one and said sorry and gave them a hug.
If you had 2 wishes, what would you wish for?
Stevie
- To get a puppy.
- To go to America.
Abby
I wish I could make regionals for cross country, and I wish for my home renovation to be over.
Aleia
If I had 2 wishes I would wish for, firstly, no more wars or conflicts and secondly for everyone to be equal.
Do you have a hobby?
Stevie
- Cheerleading an Athletics.
Abby
My hobbies are basketball, netball and I enjoy running.
Aleia
I actually have three hobbies, which are basketball, netball and Cheer.
