Nationals Competition

From 30 August to 2 September, 53 MGSC students travelled to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, to represent our school at the TFT National Championships. 

This is a huge accomplishment for our MGSC aerobics squad, as this opportunity allowed all the students to showcase their hard work and dedication over the past few months.

We got to experience the warm weather and beautiful beaches in Queensland, but the best part was definitely bonding as a squad and having a blast cheering on both our squad and students from other schools.

Throughout the competition, MGSC had a total of 30 entries compete on stage, with the school bringing home a total of eight medals. These results included two Gold, three Silver, and three Bronze medals, along with 10 fourth place achievement!

A huge congratulations to everyone involved, and on behalf of all the students, a massive thank you to all the coaches, alumni, and family members who supported us every step of the way.

The Aerobics squad is now working hard for their next competition in October, where they will be competing against other schools in the Spring Challenge. Best of luck to all those who are competing!
