MEGA Raffle wrap
The raffle fundraiser for our new Wellness Studio has been a magnificent success. Nearly $30,000 was raised through the commitment of our enthusastic students, backing by their families and help of many within our community. The prize winners represented the depth and breath of the MGSC community - students, families, relatives, friends and alumni.
Thank you to everyone that participated - the staff that led the project with first discussions back in 2025; donors and sponsors. Everyone's involment is greatly appreciated.
Cyber Safety Parent Information Evening
Our information evening with Australia’s leading cyber safety expert, Susan McLean, is in the fourth week of Term 4.

Parkdale Pantry needs your vote
Former student Emily Daniel has been nominated as a Local Hero for her work with local volunteer-run food rescue organisation Parkdale Pantry. Parkdale Pantry rescues surplus food and shares it freely with our community with a 'give what you can, take what you need' principal.
Emily has been named a finalist for a $20,000 Westfield Local Hero grant which will make a real different to the program Parkdale Pantry offers. The grant is based on popular vote. This link takes you to the form. It closes on 20 September.
The Pantry is always looking for passionate volunteers, so if anyone in our community has been looking for a local way to get involved you are welcome to use this link.
