2026 Art & Design Show

Our annual MGSC VCE Art & Design Show is on Wednesday 14 October from 6pm to 8pm in our STEAM Connect Centre. 

This is the annual showcase of works from Units 1 to 4 students in Art, Media and Visual Communication Design. This year there will be one Overall prize for the student in Year 12 who shows outstanding talent in Art and Design. There will be prizes for each of the Unit 3 & 4 subjects. There will also be an award given to the top student and the runner up of Unit 1 & 2 subjects.

Every year we have a guest artist judge alongside our Principal, Linda Brown. This year, we are fortunate to welcome Belle Property as a new sponsor of the MGSC Art & Design Show Awards. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Robert Pullia from Belle Property for supporting our awards and recognising the importance of Art and Design in education. Through the support of our sponsors, we are able to celebrate and acknowledge the creativity, dedication and achievements of our students in Art and Design.

We would like to thank all the students for their hard work this year. Folio subjects demand a high output of constant creativity for their work. They require much dedication and self motivation.

Special thank you to the Year 12 teachers Amy Willett, Luigi Spoto and Charlie Ning. We also thank them for setting the expectations for VCE 2026 & 2027. Thank you to all 2026 Art & Technology staff, Amy Willett, Stefanie Cappuccio, Lauren Caridi, Eva Glac, Luigi Spoto, Charlie Ning, Gemma Johnson, Isabel De San Sinforiano, Tess Molina, and Robyn van den Berg.

All staff, families and friends are welcome to attend. It is a wonderful night and a great way for the younger students to see what can be achieved in the Art subjects at VCE. Even if you aren’t studying Art, Media or Visual Communication Design, you can still be a part of the event. It’s a great way to celebrate the hard work the students have put in this year, so please support them! There will be light refreshments provided on the night.
