Nude Food

Hello!  We are Eco Warriors at Skye Primary School. In the yard there is litter everywhere.  The Eco Warriors at Skye Primary School met this week and came up with a plan to have ‘Nude Food’ in our lunchboxes (see examples in photos above).  Nude Food means food that is packed without unnecessary packaging, especially single use plastic.  Next term we will be working hard to promote Nude Food.  We are really concerned that the rubbish will end up in our oceans and it makes our school community look messy. 

We will be communicating more next term to discuss how Nude Food will work.

Coastline Clean Up

On Friday the 2nd of October the Youth Advisory Committee supported by the Mornington Peninsula Shire will meet at the Rosebud Jetty to clean up the beach and invite all to attend.  There will be a free BBQ, music and games.  Please refer the invitation for the details and how to register.
