Top Class Theatre and Music Excursions 

Over the last 2 weeks Performing Arts VCE and senior students have attended Top Class Music and Top Class Theatre performances. These are held at the Melbourne Recital Centre and show A+ work from the previous year’s VCE cohort across the state. It is a wonderful opportunity to see what the VCE year may hold and to build some high standards and expectations!

Top Class Music enjoyed performances from a range of performers, instruments and styles. They capped off the day with a visit to the NGV to source inspiration for their own upcoming compositions.

This year VCE Theatre students were particularly enthusiastic as Thornbury High was represented on the main stage: 2025 alumnus Wilco Briddock presented his designs as part of the Top Class Theatre Studies concert! We were so proud and pleased to be there to support him - and to see Thornbury’s excellence showcased to a wide audience!
