Interhouse Athletics Carnival

Our Interhouse Athletics Carnival at the WA Athletics Stadium unfolded beneath plenty of sunshine. Students displayed fantastic House spirit, with our Year 12 leaders creating some incredible tributes to their Heads of House. 

Thank you to all the staff who assisted throughout the day, stepping into the role of temporary PE teachers to help make the carnival a success. Students had the opportunity to participate in every event, which puts us in a great position ahead of the upcoming ACC Athletics Carnival on September 4. 

The ACC Athletics Team will be announced in Week 4, so keep an eye on the Fitness Centre for the team list.

AFLW kicks off

Earlier this week around 20 Year 9 and 10 students travelled to All Saints College to represent the Dragons at the ACC AFLW Carnival. Across four games, the team showed some excellent passages of play and made great improvements throughout the day, with many students playing AFL for the very first time.

Congratulations to all of these students for getting involved, stepping outside their comfort zones, and giving something new a go. It is fantastic to see so many students making the most of the opportunities available to them. Thank you to everyone who was involved, and we can't wait to see the Dragons back in action again next year!
