House Cross Country
This week, we were fortunately blessed with a truly stunning day for our whole school cross country event. With the whole school arriving at Elsternwick Park, the house spirit and energy was high. Students ran or walked, challenging themselves across the different distances with smiles on their faces. To top it off, the sausage sizzle was a welcome refuel after each race and the icy poles certainly went down a treat in the lovely sunshine during the presentations. With everyone supporting their houses the final results were:
Senior House Cup
1st – Lloyd
2nd – Blundell
3rd – Langley
4th – Thomas
Junior House Cup
1st – Blundell
2nd – Thomas
3rd – Langley

Further Sporting Successes
Badminton
Over the school holidays, Alana L participated in a State Badminton tournament held in Bendigo, where she and her partner secured Gold State Title in girls doubles at the Under 15 AIA Junior State Titles. This is Alana’s highest accomplishment thus far and we are proud to share her success. Furthermore, in July this year she'll be representing Victoria and will travel to Perth to compete in the Under 15 National Competition. We wish her all the best and look forward to hearing how Alana goes.
Swimming
At the very start of term, Anna K achieved second place, silver medal in the 50m Breaststroke event at MSAC in the SSV State Swimming Championships in a very close race with a time of 37.38 seconds which is well under the National qualifying time for 13 year olds. Well done Anna!
