Welcome back to Term 2 to all our Senior School families. We hope you had a rejuvenating break and are ready for another engaging term ahead. This term promises to be filled with exciting opportunities for growth and achievement. Our focus remains on providing a supportive and enriching environment where every student can thrive academically and personally. As always, we encourage open communication and collaboration between students, parents, and teachers to ensure a successful and fulfilling term for all.
Last Thursday in our Anzac Day Assembly we commemorated the sacrifices and bravery of the Australian and New Zealand soldiers who served in wars, past and present. Through poignant speeches, solemn moments of reflection, and a presentation of Shelford’s experience in World War II, students and staff paid tribute to the ANZAC spirit of courage, mateship, and sacrifice. The assembly served as a powerful reminder of the enduring legacy of those who have served their countries, inspiring all present to uphold the values of remembrance, unity, and gratitude in their own lives. Thanks to Mr Hill and our Year 9 students Claude, Lex and Ruby who played a major role in planning and presenting this assembly.
We encourage all member of the Shelford community to come along to our final Senior School play Clue. We are sure the performance will be an absolute delight with a stellar cast of our students ready to whisk you away into a world of mystery and intrigue. From the candlestick to the conservatory, every corner of the stage will be alive with the thrill of solving the ultimate whodunit.
