Year 9 Update

As we return to school, I warmly welcome back the Year 9s to what promises to be an exciting and enriching term ahead. This term is marked by the vibrant buzz of creativity and teamwork as we gear up for the much-anticipated House Performing Arts and the school’s play - a classic - Clue: On Stage. The stage is set for our students to showcase their talents and immerse themselves in the magic of theatre.

During the school holidays, I reflected on the City Challenge that took place late last term. I realised how inspiring it was to witness the dedication and passion our students demonstrated during the Challenge and their subsequent engagement with their Inquiry projects on the City of Melbourne’s dedication to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. In Week 3 of this term, our students will proudly present their findings to a panel, exemplifying their commitment to driving positive change and contributing meaningfully to our community and beyond.

In exciting news, we can share that there is confirmation that the Year 9 & 10 Formal is going ahead in Term 4! If you haven't booked yet, do so here

This term, the Year 9 cohort has chosen a word that encapsulates their spirit and aspirations: 'Unleashed'. It's a word that resonates deeply with the girls, symbolising their eagerness to explore and thrive. We all feel invigorated and empowered to embrace all that this term has to offer. Together, let's kick this term off with enthusiasm, curiosity, and the unwavering belief in the potential that lies within each of us.
