This week we celebrate Catholic Education Week, a time to give thanks for the gift of Catholic education and the important role our schools play in nurturing faith, learning and community.

As part of the celebrations, our school leaders will attend a special Mass on Friday at St Patrick's Cathedral joining with other Catholic school communities in prayer and thanksgiving for Catholic Education.

Thank you to our families for your continued partnership in supporting our students to grow in faith, learning and compassion.

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us for our Year 5/6 and 2026 Foundation Buddy Mass on Sunday. It was a wonderful celebration and a very special moment for our school community.

Seeing our future Foundation students alongside their Year 5/6 buddies was a beautiful reminder of the caring and supportive spirit that is at the heart of our school. The Mass provided a meaningful opportunity to welcome our new families and celebrate the beginning of the Buddy relationships that will continue to grow throughout the year. These experiences help ensure our youngest students begin their school journey feeling confident, welcomed and connected.

Thank you to our parish community, staff, students and families who helped make the Mass such a joyful and welcoming occasion. We look forward to continuing this journey together as our new students prepare to begin their learning at St Fidelis.

NAPLAN

NAPLAN testing has now concluded. Well done to all our students for their efforts and positive attitude throughout the assessments. Thank you to our families and staff for your support in encouraging students to simply do their best. We are very proud of the way our students approached the tests with confidence and resilience.
