Our junior students are currently focusing on their Geography studies and are engaged in their learning about various topics:
Year 7 – Water in the World
Year 8 – Urbanisation and megacities
Year 9 – Globalisation
Our senior students (who have elected to continue to study the Humanities) are equally engaged in their studies with a more intense focus in their chosen subjects:
Year 10 – World War II
Units 1 and 3 – Legal Studies
Units 1 and 3 – Business Management
All our students are currently working on CAT 2 with many being due in Term 2 – so, yes, there may be some holiday homework!
One of the many highlights for our Year 10 History class was their visit to the Holocaust Museum to hear the true stories from the few remaining survivors. Our students reported to be touched and shocked by stories….
“The highlight of going to the Holocaust Museum was meeting the guest speaker and listening to her” – Brock Harrison
“The highlight of the trip for me was seeing all the historical artefacts and how important they are. Seeing what were part of peoples life before and after the Holocaust” – Ryash Prasad
