Kitchen Garden
This semester, our Year 3 and Year 5 students will be participating in Kitchen Garden sessions, with Year 4 and Year 6 students joining the program in Semester Two.
3A and 3B enjoyed their very first Kitchen Garden session on Wednesday. Students loved harvesting fresh tomatoes, capsicum, spinach, basil, rosemary, sage, saltbush, oregano and thyme from the garden before using them to create delicious homemade pizzas.

Volunteers Wanted for Kitchen Garden Classes
The success of our Kitchen Garden program relies on the generous support of our volunteers. There is nothing more rewarding than sharing a delicious meal made with fresh produce grown from seed to harvest. You don’t need to be a green thumb or a chef, just someone who enjoys food and loves working with children.
If you, or someone you know, would like to volunteer in the kitchen during Term 1, whether for one hour or a full day, we would love to hear from you.
All volunteers are required to hold a current Working with Children Check. This is free and easy to apply for.
