Music Update

Welcome back to Skye PS for 2026!!

This semester the Junior School are back in the Music Room exploring and being creative. It's been a lot of fun already with everyone  stepping out of their comfort zones and embracing the fun that comes with music and movement.

Prep students have been moving to different music following the tempo (fast & slow) and pitch (high & low) and will continue to.

Year 1's have been following the conductor and their baton to play fast & slow using percussion instruments. They will begin to explore making their own 4/4 beats using ta's and ti-ti's!

Year 2's have been following the conductor and their baton to play fast & slow using percussion instruments. They have begun exploring the glockenspiels and will continue playing these the next few weeks!
