Meet the Board 

How many years have you been a part of the MECS community?  

My family and I joined the MECS community in 2020 (during COVID), which meant getting to know the community was challenging due to lock downs. Since then however, we have managed to connect in and feel very welcome as relatively ‘newbies’.

How long have you been on the MECS Board?  

I am very new to the MECS board, having only been officially voted in at the last AGM.

If you could holiday anywhere in the world, where would it be, and why?

I have always wanted to take my family back to Germany, and particularly the Christmas markets, as I was fortunate enough to have experienced this while on an exchange program at the end of Year 10 and it was amazing!

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?

Other than Jesus… I think Paul would be great to have round for a meal. He would definitely be able to spur us along in our faith!

What AFL team do you support?

I barrack for North Melbourne. It has been tough lately, but I still remember the 90s…

What do you love most about MECS?

I love the genuine care that is shown to all students and that MECS foundation is Christian education.
