Victorian High-Ability Program (VHAP) Term 1 celebration

Our term 2 high-achiever students celebrated the completion of their Victorian High-Ability Program at the end of last term. They were encouraged to invite a friend to join the celebration. Students shared their experiences and what they learnt in the program.

To enable our students to reach their full potential, including high-academic students, the Department of Education has introduced the Victorian High-Ability Program (VHAP) initiative as part of the Student Excellence Program.

This free program will stretch and challenge the minds of high-ability students and stimulate their critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity in English and mathematics without accelerating them through the core Victorian Curriculum.

Library displays

ANZAC Day

This year, we added purple poppies to our ANZAC displays to honour our four-legged heroes in our past world wars.

Harry Potter Day

Harry Potter fans, young and old, were invited to explore our books on this iconic fantasy series, share their favourite scene or quote, and try out our House sorting chatterboxes.

We shared Harry Potter ClickView videos on our Library Team throughout the week.

Harmony Day

To celebrate Harmony Week, we created a welcoming display for staff and students to explore.

Our library welcomes and celebrates all members of our community.

Ovarian Cancer

To raise awareness of Ovarian Cancer Day and to honour a much loved past teacher, Ozlem Karakas, we promoted a heartfelt display.
