School Based Apprentice of the Year

Cranbourne Secondary College Head Start student Joachim Lopez-Valoa took out the School Based Apprentice of the Year category at the 2023 Victorian Training Awards live gala. This state-level award ceremony celebrates the outstanding achievements of individuals, employers and training providers in Victoria’s TAFE and training sector. Joachim had previously been recognised by Kangan Institute winning the 2022 School-based Apprentice of the Year. Joachim is working for Mercury Marine and undertaking an apprenticeship in Certificate III - Marine Mechanical Technology. 

In November he will travel to Hobart for the Australian Training Awards gala event. Congratulations Joachim on your journey!
