Foundation: Fairytale Fiasco Incursion

On Wednesday, 29th April, and Thursday, 30th April, our Foundation
students participated in an exciting and highly engaging incursion titled Fairytale Fiasco. This interactive drama workshop provided students with a wonderful opportunity to step into the imaginative world of fairytales through hands-on learning, creativity, movement, and performance.
During the workshop, students entered the magical world of Fairytale Land, only to discover that everything had gone terribly wrong. A mysterious spell had been cast across the kingdom, causing mice to meow, dwarfs to become grumpy, and dragons to lose their ability to fly. Students worked together to help restore order to Fairytale Land by participating in a range of fun and interactive drama activities.
Through dance, role-play, storytelling, and performance, students reenacted many of the classic fairytales they had explored throughout the term. The workshop allowed students to bring familiar characters and stories to life in an exciting and memorable way, while also encouraging them to use their imagination and express themselves with confidence.
The incursion fostered creativity, teamwork, communication, and self-confidence, while making learning both meaningful and enjoyable for all students. It was truly a magical experience that brought smiles, laughter, and excitement to all students.
