Foundation: Dream City Incursion

               On Monday, 4th May, Foundation classes FA, FB, and FC, followed by FD, FE, and FF on Tuesday, 5th May, took part in an exciting incursion titled Dream City.

This hands-on experience provided students with the opportunity to explore a range of careers through engaging, interactive, and high-tech activities. Students participated in the following experiences:

Electrical Engineer

Our future engineers had a fantastic time exploring circuits and electronics. They created simple circuits that powered lights and spun fans, all with the flick of a switch. The activity was both engaging and educational.

Neonatal Nurse

Students stepped into the role of neonatal nurses, learning how to care for newborns. They practised weighing, measuring, feeding, and soothing baby dolls. It was wonderful to see the empathy they showed as they gently rocked the babies to keep

 them calm.

Virtual Reality Artist

Using VR headsets, students entered a vibrant virtual world where they brought their creativity to life. They enjoyed colouring and watching their artwork appear in the virtual environment, making it a truly memorable experience.

The Dream City incursion was a valuable opportunity for students to explore different professions in a fun and engaging way. It was inspiring to see their curiosity, enthusiasm, and excitement about future careers.
