During the session, students learned about the significance of dot painting in Indigenous Australian culture, including how artworks are used to tell stories, represent country, and share knowledge. They explored traditional symbols, patterns, and techniques before creating their own artworks inspired by what they had learned.

This experience was highly valuable as it allowed students to engage respectfully with Indigenous perspectives and deepen their understanding of Australia's rich cultural heritage. It also encouraged creativity, reflection, and appreciation for the importance of storytelling in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Overall, it was an engaging and memorable activity that supported both cultural awareness and hands-on learning.
