Secondary: Annual Wellbeing Breakfast

Last week, our Secondary School held its annual Wellbeing Breakfast.

Fostering positive relationships with students and creating opportunities for staff and students to connect socially can have a meaningful impact on student learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. In this spirit, our students and staff spent the morning together, sharing breakfast and engaging in meaningful discussions about wellbeing, kindness and kinship.

The breakfast was a wonderful way to conclude the first week of our Bullying Awareness Campaign, bringing students together and reminding them of the importance of caring for and supporting one another. It was a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections across our school community and to encourage students to reflect on how their words, actions and attitudes can positively impact those around them.

As Allah reminds us in the Qur’an, “And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good” (2:195). The Wellbeing Breakfast was a reflection of this message, encouraging our students to show kindness, strengthen their relationships and contribute positively to our school community.
