Our school’s ANZAC service was held on Thursday 10th April, followed by a luncheon for Defence students, parents and carers. We had the honour of LACW Thompson and ACW Elbagari from Joint Logistics Unit (East) Williamtown RAAF attending and speaking at our ceremony.

Thank you to Defence students Connor Taylor, Amy Crocker, Charles Lewis, Owen Newcombe, and Zaine Thomson who were all involved in the service – speaking, laying the wreath, and marching in the flags. You all did a fantastic job, and made us proud. They were supported by our student leaders, Army Cadet student Ronald Rosier, Air Force Cadet student Harper Dollin, and Bella O'Dwyer. We also appreciate the parents and carers that were able to join us for this special event.

This term in our weekly Defence Group we have celebrated Veterans’ Families Day, enjoyed hot chocolate together, made cards and posters for Mothers’ Day, expanded our social circles by ‘bringing a friend’ to Defence Group, and played an Uno tournament.
