Celebrating Our 2026 Meliora Sequamur Award Recipients

On Tuesday 13 October, students, staff and families gathered for a special evening celebrating our 2026 Meliora Sequamur Award recipients.

Meaning “Follow the better path”, these awards recognise students who demonstrate our school values of humanity, curiosity, fairness and achievement. They celebrate contribution and commitment to our school and wider community, as well as significant positive change and personal growth.

Mr Jones shared that this was the 21st year of the awards, marking a wonderful milestone for this school tradition.

A highlight of the evening was hearing staff and students speak so warmly and thoughtfully about each recipient. Their stories celebrated kindness, perseverance, creativity and growth, reminding us of the many ways our students make a difference.

This year we had a record number of nominations, and it was difficult to narrow the list down. Thank you to our nominators, speakers, organisers and everyone who joined us for the celebration. Congratulations to all our award recipients, we are proud of your achievements and the positive impact you have on our community.
