Year 9 Intercultural Day

Tuesday September 8th – Intercultural Day Year 9 

Throughout Connect in term 3 our Year 9 students explored and learned about a range of different cultures from around the world and reflected on their own cultural identity. Students presented their own cultural identity to their peers during Connect on Intercultural Day.  

Students participated in a range of cultural workshops founded in dance, art, music and culture. Below are some pictures of students and their work from the Indigenous art and storytelling workshop, Islamic symbols and clay trinket workshop and the Islamic tea workshop.  

It was a great day and we thank all students for their participation and the energy they brought to the workshops.
