Primary: Annual Quran Competition Awards Night

Alhamdulillah, Islamic College of Melbourne proudly celebrated the dedication, progress and growing connection of our Primary students to the Holy Quran at our annual Quran Competition Awards Night.
The evening recognised Primary students for their achievements in Quran memorisation and recitation, while also celebrating every student who participated in this year’s competition. While awards recognise individual achievement, every student who dedicates time to learning and studying the Holy Quran has achieved something meaningful.
The College also proudly recognised our Iqra graduates and students participating in the Primary Quran Accelerated Program (QAP), a dedicated pathway for students who are ready to extend their Quranic learning.
Throughout the evening, our Primary students brought their learning to the stage through a series of special performances. Students performed a Congratulatory Nasheed and presented a piece structured around Surah Al-Ma’oun, alongside two choreographed performances inspired by the Holy Quran.
Together, the awards and performances reflected the confidence and dedication of our Primary students and the important place the Holy Quran holds within College life.
We extend our sincere congratulations to all our Primary Quran Competition winners, participants, Iqra graduates and QAP students. We also thank our dedicated staff and families for their teaching, preparation, encouragement and support.
May Allah (SWT) reward our Primary students and staff, strengthen our students’ love for the Holy Quran and keep its guidance close to their hearts.
“Surely this Quran guides to what is most upright, and gives good news to the believers who do good that they will have a mighty reward.” – Surah Al-Isra, 17:9
