Year 12 VM Recycling Project
Creating Futures Together
As part of the Year 12 VM Literacy advocacy unit, the VM students are involved in a recycling campaign to promote responsible recycling practices within the school community and advocate for positive environmental change.
We are inviting donations from students and staff of WHSC. We are working with AH recycling group, a local group based in Melbourne. Donated goods are distributed to 41 countries mainly in Africa and the Middle East.
The project will run from 18th June until 30th June 2025. During this period, you can place your donated goods (sealed in bags or cardboard boxes) outside the C01 door, or contact any teachers in charge (Ms. Chee, Mr. Razaai and Mr. Campbell) so we can arrange for the goods to be stored in the holding area in C01.
The list of items we are collecting include:
a. all clothing, shoes and bags
b. all doonas, sheets, pillows, cushions, pillow cases, towels and other types of linen/rags
c. all soft toys and hard toys
d. all underwear, bras, nightwear and socks
e. school uniforms, sportwear, jewellery and books.
Please refer to the poster below for more information.
Thank you in advance for your support!
