Sustainability

It’s been another busy and rewarding start to the term for our Sustainability Leaders and Garden Club members! Earlier this term, students planted the seedlings they had grown from seeds in our classroom greenhouse into the larger veggie gardens. 

It was wonderful to see their excitement as they transferred the plants they had cared for over the past few weeks into the garden beds. We’re looking forward to seeing how they grow and to enjoying some fresh produce soon!

Our Sustainability Leaders have also been working hard to improve waste management around the school. They will be placing new labels on our bins to help everyone easily distinguish between recycling and rubbish. This small change will make a big difference in helping us reduce waste and keep our school environment clean and sustainable.
