Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships

The Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) learning materials are designed for primary and secondary school teachers to develop students’ social, emotional and positive relationship skills. It is designed to promote equality, nurture respectful relationships, and provide students with social skills they can utilise beyond the classroom. It provides students with essential knowledge and skills, as well as opportunities to roleplay positive interactions with others in scenarios. This learning empowers students to recognise their rights, understand their responsibilities, and foster respectful interactions, contributing to a safer, more inclusive school environment and society overall.
The Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) learning materials cover eight topics of Social and Emotional Learning across all levels from Foundation to Year 10: Emotional Literacy; Personal Strengths; Positive Coping; Problem Solving; Stress Management; Help Seeking; Gender and Identity; and Positive Gender Relationships. The learning materials are all age appropriate for the given grade level.
This term our students are currently focusing on these topics:
Foundation: Help Seeking - Students develop skills and knowledge for peer support, peer referral and help-seeking.
Year One: Gender Norms and Stereotypes - Students learn about gender equality, inclusion, human rights and the importance of relationships that respect people of all genders.
Year Two: Gender Norms and Stereotypes - Students learn about gender equality, inclusion, human rights and the importance of relationships that respect people of all genders.
Year Three: Problem Solving - Students learn a range of problem-solving techniques to apply when confronting personal, social and ethical dilemmas.
Year Four: Gender Norms and Stereotypes - Students learn about gender equality, inclusion, human rights and the importance of relationships that respect people of all genders.
Year Five: Problem Solving - Students learn a range of problem-solving techniques to apply when confronting personal, social and ethical dilemmas.
Year Six: Gender Norms and Stereotypes - Students learn about gender equality, inclusion, human rights and the importance of relationships that respect people of all genders.
