Hands On Learning & Clean Up Australia Day

A very well done to the year 9 LEAP class for participating in Clean Up Australia day for schools on February the 28th.

This is a national event which aims to inspire and empower communities to clean up, fix up and conserve the environment, with the broader goal of promoting sustainability and reducing waste and these amazing year 9s did just that! Despite the hot weather the yr 9s persevered to get the job done firstly at school then made there way to Taylors Lakes Linear Park. Well done!

Hands on Learning Program

On the 20/03/2025 in Hands on learning we finished our boxes and had two members of the group cook a delicious fried rice.

After lunch a group of students began sanding an outdoor bench. later Russell took a group to start the measurements of the pickets for the picket fence.

We also collected the outdoor kitchen from Remus Way Kinf to be repaired as a community outreach project.
