Interview with Mr Anthony McCulloch

Interview With

 Mr Anthony McCulloch 4C

How Long Have You Worked At BNPS?

This is my sixth year teaching my own grade.  I also did about six months of CRT and contract work prior to that.

Who inspires you?

My eldest sister, Jen.  She was diagnosed with a terminal illness a couple of years ago and just keeps defying the odds.  Her attitude to getting the most out of life and to building relationships with those around her is truly inspiring.

What is your favourite thing to do on the weekends?

Watching Collingwood win football matches…so, I guess I’m not really having too much fun at the moment!  I also enjoy spending time watching or helping out with my boy’s sport and heading out to dinner or a movie with my wife (Janet).

If you weren’t a Teacher what do you think you might be doing?

Coaching the Collingwood Football Club. They could use the help! 😊

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

More of a night owl.  I often get a second wind at around 10pm at night…which is actually quite annoying, as then I tend to stay up late and wake-up tired.

What might someone be surprised to know about you ?

I have jumped out of an aeroplane…fortunately with a parachute on.

What’s something you saw recently that made you smile?

The show, “Old People’s Home for Four Year Olds’. There are some pretty heart-warming moments in that one!

If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose ?

An astronaut heading into outer space.  That would be a unique experience.

What would you like to say to your class?

“Good morning 4C. Today we’re heading off to outer space.  Fortunately, all your parents have provided consent on Compass and paid the excursion levy, so we’re all going!” 😊
