2023
Edgars Creek Secondary College has commenced it's Interschool Sport program for 2023.
Off the back of a very successful Interschool Sport program in 2022, there are high hopes for much of the same success in 2023.
It is not only the first time that the college will have the opportunity for all year levels from Years 7-12 represented on Interschool Sport days, but also the opportunity for the incorporation of our new Year 7 students, new students from other schools, and Year 12 students embarking on their final run at sports in their senior year.
"The start the College could have hoped for." - Beginnings set the tone!
A large number of students have taken the opportunity to sign-up, tryout and be apart of multiple teams to begin the year.
Intermediate Boys & Girls Volleyball teams were the first to represent the College at Epping Leisure City on Wednesday 22nd February. Set by set, both teams gave it there all, both making it to the final following a win in all three pool games. Unfortunately they both fell just short, but it was an awesome effort all round. They should be commended on their team-work, leadership and upholding our school values.
Year 7 Boys Cricket team gave it their best shot at John Laffan Reserve in Donnybrook on Thursday 2nd March.
Innings by innings, the boys grew in confidence. After three very competitive games, the boys ended the day united and together. They showed what it means to not only give your best, but do it with a smile on your face regardless off the end result.
We couldn't be prouder of our first ever ECSC cricket team. Well done boys, better luck next year!
'Regionals Bound!' -The next stage is a bigger one!
Huge congratulations go out to both the Year 7 Boys & Year 7 Girls Volleyball teams for a hugely successful day at Epping Leisure City on Thursday 2nd March. Both treams not only all of their pool games, but both winning their final games and progressing through to Regionals.
