SPA update

Upcoming Events

SPA is offering two exciting and big events for Term 2. To ensure these events are as successful as possible we require the assistance of the whole school community. Come along and get involved.

 

Mothers' Day Lunch  - Friday 12 May

We are looking for any donations of goods or services for raffle prizes for the Mother’s Day event. Proceeds are going to the Thin Green Line supporting Indigenous Women Rangers in The Kimberley.

Would you like to participate at this community event? Come out and show support for our wonderful School, our girls and broader community. Please get in touch if you can help in any way.

 

What we need right now:

 

Food: We would like to offer a more diverse range of food this year and are looking for members of our community who would like to be involved with running a food stall. Indian, Turkish, Greek or Chinese - come along and showcase your cultural cuisine. 

Please get in touch if any individuals or groups would like to be involved. 

 

Stalls: Anybody with ideas for a stall or would like to host a stall themselves and sell their own goods get in touch at spa@shelford.vic.edu.au. 

We also require volunteers to help at the SPA organised stalls for 45min blocks so please reach out to donate your time. 

 

Donations:

If anyone can help with any of the following donations this would be greatly appreciated:

  • Craft items, ribbons, glue guns, sparkles for a fairy stall making wands/halos needs supplies.
  • Beauty/make up donations/contacts or Mecca gift cards  to use as prizes for games for the Senior girls.
  • Tombola Jars - medium sized jars filled with items such as lollies, chocolate, hair ties, marbles, and stationery.

Volunteers are always welcome!

  • We would love to hear from anyone wishing to join the events subcommittee either on an ongoing basis or event by event.  
  • Volunteers on the night to help run the stalls, set up and clean up. 
  • Volunteers on the day to collect hire equipment from suppliers - ideally people with a UTE or larger SUV.

Second Hand Uniform Shop

Term 2

  • Every Monday, 3.15pm - 3.45pm (except King's Birthday holiday)
