We are the change
The Nappy Collective Sorting Day
Shelford has once again been selected as the central location for the annual Nappy Collective Sorting Day. The Nappy Collective focuses specifically on sourcing donations of full or partial packs of disposable nappies. These donations are sorted by volunteers and then sent to community support organisations, ensuring families and carers can provide their babies with the nappies. For many, this means the difference between buying groceries and covering rising housing costs.
Donate nappies
Shelford is now an official donation point for the nappy collective. Please drop off full or partial packs to the donation box at reception from today until Friday 26th May.
Volunteering on the day
Last year, our volunteers worked alongside external volunteers to sort and box over 38,000 nappies. This year, community support organisations have indicated a need for over 50,000 nappies. Secondary students, parents and staff are invited to join us on Saturday 27th May. You can choose to volunteer for the whole day or take part for a shorter shift.
