GSV Sport
Diving finals night results
In the final week of Term 3, Lucy D represented Shelford at the GSV diving finals night. Lucy completed 3 outstanding dives on the night, finishing 1st in the intermediate age group.
Weekly sport
This term we begin our Term 2 GSV weekly sports. The weekly sports on offer this term are AFL (Year 9–12) and Netball.
Training and games have now started with Seniors (Year 11 and 12) on Mondays, Intermediates (Year 9 and 10) on Wednesdays and Juniors (Year 7 and 8) on Thursdays. AFL (Years 9–12) will run on Fridays.
We hope our weekly sport participants have an enjoyable season ahead.
Carnival sport
The Cross Country team will continue to train each Tuesday and Friday morning until the end of week 5. We wish our Cross Country team luck at the upcoming Preliminary carnival on Tuesday 16 May at Yarra Bend Park. I look forward to sharing our results in the next newsletter.
Junior School Sport
SYDSA Cross Country
This term the Junior School Cross Country team began training on Tuesday and Friday mornings. The students have been working hard in preparation for the SYDSA Cross Country event on Monday 8 May at Fawkner Park. We wish our team luck and I look forward to sharing the results in the next newsletter.
School Sport Victoria Diving
On Monday 1 May, Zara M (Year 4) competed in the SSV diving competition at MSAC. After multiple rounds, Zara finished 5th in the state in the Under 12s competition. Zara will now progress to the next round of competition on 21 May.
